How to reach Jaipur
Jaipur is well connected to most of the places. One can take a flight from any of the major cities across India like Delhi, Mumbai or Ahmedabad to reach Jaipur. All the major airlines of India operate regular flights to and from Jaipur. The airport is just 15km from the pink city and it takes about 25 minutes to reach Jaipur.
Indian Railways connects Jaipur with other cities and towns with a number of trains like Shatabdi. There is the Palace on wheels, luxury train which offers a majestic experience of touring Rajasthan. The trip starts from Delhi and covers cities like Udaipur, Jaipur, Sawai Madhopur and Alwar.
There is also a regular bus service form all major cities of India. Apart from these, there are regular taxis for driving down from Delhi or for touring Jaipur city.
Climate
Jaipur enjoys a moderate climate, though the summers are quite hot with temperatures touching 45deg. The best time to visit Jaipur is from October to March. The monsoon starts by the 3rd week of July though it does not rain much.
