By Train: Shimla is well served by train connections too.Shimla Railway station is just over a km from the downtown. From Kalka enjoy getting up to Shimla on the toy train. The best connections from Delhi are Shatabdi Express, the Himalayan Queen Express and the Howrah -Kalka mail. By Road: Shimla is on National Highway No 22.
